CASTEK ANNOUNCES NEW FEATURES FOR CLAIMSPATH

Latest Product Release Delivers Functional and Implementation Enhancements; Demonstrates Castek’s Commitment to Product Improvement

TORONTO (13th July 2003) — Castek’s innovative claims collaboration and communications solution, ClaimsPath, continues to grow. Today we are pleased to announce the availability of new product features and increased usage of the solution by P&C insurance carriers. Our continued investment in ClaimsPath increases the already proven bottom-line business benefits that can be delivered to P&C carriers and claims service providers, including both cost reductions and enhanced end customer satisfaction.

ClaimsPath is now providing full communication functionality for several P&C carriers for both property and auto claims. Approximately 450 claim service providers have been connected, including multiple nationwide property and auto claims service providers. Service providers connected include:

• Discount Car and Truck Rentals
• Budget Car Rentals
• AutoClaim Co. Appraisal Services
• Insurance Search Bureau

New product features under development and planned for shipment by early fall 2003 include:

• Full bilingual French and English operation
• Work flow management and assignment
• Work load balancing
